I’ve been in a season where I have not held closely enough to the wisdom written here. After months of nothing but renewing my mind, I made the mistake of not taking the next step – taking Jesus to the world. When I continually chose comfort or convenience over expressing God’s love, I grew bored with Scripture reading and sermon listening. After all, what power does truth hold to those who refuse to use it?
So it’s time to return to what I already know. I sow the truth into my mind and my spirit. Then I act on the truth with a heart of love and compassion for the lost who do not know.
