Those who have not put God in a box know that the Scripture is true and the Holy Spirit is still alive and active in those who Believe. All the gifts are present and working in the church across the world today, except where “religious” spirits have succeeded in removing the One who has all power from lives of those who are being taught.

Works , in our own power, do not threaten the enemy at all. He only fears and obeys one thing…Christ is us the hope of glory. The gifts are the lifeblood of the true church, the actions of the supernatural One who lives in us.

Who is served by “cessationism’?. Only the evil one, and those who would try to put God in a box for control sake and comfort of our own understanding. Men have rarely submitted to the necessity for the supernatural in evangelism. Where they have, revival has always broken out. When the “church” has fought back against “loose canons” (sp. :^)) the Spirit has humbly stepped down. Smiles all around in demonic forces then.
